Revision, Theory & Coursework adjustment

I won't be in the lesson today but you have plenty to do. Coursework improvement or in some cases ..... coursework. Finish work on Institutions from last week. Look at theory: Uses and Gratifications, oppositional, preferred and alternative readings (e.g. Charlie Brooker); Adorno and the Frankfurt School. Try also Gramsci and Hegemony.
All of this will help to boost your marks in MEST 3.
Why is the BBC attracting so much media attention at the moment?
We will revisit these areas next week and I will be disappointed if all of you cannot contribute intelligently and show good-quality notes.
