Holiday work:
1) Do a 'Me and My Media' diary where you log and analyse a day's media consumption. The analysis must reflect key concepts + the A2 work we have been doing over the last few weeks. So, for example:
Call of Duty - comment on Representation, Audience, Genre, Narrative and Ideologies.
2) Write 350 words on a media text you have experienced. (film, TV programme). As a starting point, use the TAG sheet and the more advanced version TAP sheet - both are in the Useful Documents section.
3) Do a practice coursework production reflecting an area of media debate (see the handbook). In order to be really successful, the A2 production must be clearly of superior quality to your AS work and also represent twice the work.
