MEST 3 & Critical Perspectives

Over the next 2 -3 weeks, we will be looking at image & film analysis. The challenge will be to incorporate into is as much A2 theory as you can. We've already looked at
Feminism & Post-feminism
Marxism & Gramsci.
We will also work on the Frankfurt School. See the theory zone section (below right) for material on this.
You should be already be familiar with concepts such connotation, uses and gratifications plus the hypodermic needle model.
Summer work must be handed in NOW to show commitment to the course.
