- 2) To what extent are social media killing off traditional media and changing the way audiences engage with media content?
- 3) How effectively are media institutions dealing with the rise in audience power resulting from NDM?
- 4) Discuss the view that NDM make it easier for users to break the law (piracy, libel, obscenity etc). Should anything be done to stop this?
- 5) Ordinary users and non-professionals are now turning into producers, Does the expansion of NDM inevitably lead to a decline in the quality of media products?
- 6) Traditional media (print, scheduled TV, blockbuster films) are threatened by new and e-media. Should we feel nostalgic about the decline of traditional media forms and platforms? Is the dominance of NDM a positive or a negative development, in your view?
